Each piece embodies a five-pointed family-inspired celestial design created using diamonds that graduate in size to create the impression of a moving comet leaving a trail of shimmering stars behind it as it moves in the night sky. The OPEIA collection has been created by our talented in-house designer, Emily Holdich and takes its name from the word Cassiopeia, a constellation found in the Northern sky that was named after Queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. This OPEIA bangle, crafted from polished 18ct white gold, is a striking piece that can either be worn alone or complemented with other designs from the range. The open style of the bangle creates a contemporary finish against the wrist. The diamonds in this design amount to a total weight of 2.20ct. The OPEIA bangle not only Features the dramatic comet-inspired circular motif embraced by a five-stone graduated diamond design but boasts delicate round brilliant-cut diamonds set into the surface of the bangle itself. To finish the design, the open section draws in with a double spearhead-shaped structure, topped with a claw-set round brilliant-cut diamond to depict the motion of a shooting star or moving comet.
