This large circle pendant from Berry’s Jewellers has been handcrafted here in our workshops and created by our talented in-house designer, Emily Holdich for our OPEIA jewellery collection. The range, which takes its name from the word Cassiopeia – a constellation found in the Northern sky, comprises designs like this one, which echo the way that moving comets leave a trail of shimmering light behind them as they glide through a rich blanket of black sky at night. Each piece does this by the infinite shape of a diamond and emerald-encrusted circle. The pendant’s negative inverted space inside also forms a five-pointed star shape – a nod to five generations here at Berry’s Jewellers. The large-sized OPEIA pendant has been crafted from 18ct white gold and Features five round brilliant-cut emeralds held inside claw settings. Each rich green gemstone is connected by a line of graduating claw-set round brilliant-cut diamonds that amount to a total weight of 0.87 carats. An 18ct white gold chain measuring 18 inches secures to the back of the neck with a lobster style clasp and a Berry’s signature “B”-shaped charm. The chain also showcases smaller round brilliant-cut diamonds nestled inside smooth rub over settings for extra panache and detail. The round brilliant-cut emerald stones chosen for this unique OPEIA pendant amount to a total weight of 1.39 carats, whilst the diamonds have a colour and clarity grading of G and VS.
