The first Chronomat was introduced by Breitling in 1984 with an interior designed to replace the popular thin quartz movements with an impeccable automatic movement for around-the-clock precision. Based on an original design from the previous year, the Breitling Chronomat watch takes inspirational cues from the 1983 Frecce Tricolori chronograph, created in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron. This 42mm Breitling Chronomat B01 watch Features a black dial with silvered sub-counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The watch’s stainless steel case is integrated with 200-meter water resistance and attaches to a “Rouloux” bracelet with a folding clasp for an easy, secure fit around the wrist. This men’s 42mm Breitling Chronomat B01 watch is powered by one of Breitling’s in-house made movements, the Calibre Manufacture 01. It provides an impressive 70-hour power reserve and beats at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour. Additional Features of this men’s Breitling watch include a tachymeter scale in black around the periphery of the dial, luminous coated hands and indexes, and a screw-down case and crown to ensure maximum protection against water damage.
